Please not that if you wish to compete at Area Events you MUST provide a helper for the event. Failure to do so will result in the Club being eliminated

VACCINATIONS

Your horse must have a record which complies with BRC rules – even a day out makes him or her ineligible. You can easily check your horse is correct by downloading the vaccination checker and putting in the first three dates of flu vaccinations– you can compete if the first two are done too recently for the third to have been given provided the last is not within 6 days of the competition.

Please ensure a copy of the vaccination record is sent to us prior to competition at mail@cbrc.org.uk

MEDICATION

You will not be allowed to compete if your horse is on any medication which falls into the category of banned substances (eg bute)

You also need to check with your vet that any medication which your horse may have taken recently will have had time to clear the system

HAT TAGGING

Anyone competing in BRC Qualifiers will need to get their hat inspected and fitted with the new PINK tag at the qualifier before they can ride.

Due to the removal of the PAS 015 1998 and SNELL 2001 the Aqua tags will no longer be accepted for Area and National Competitions in 2023.

BRC, BE and The Pony Club have joined together to unify hat standards, resulting in a single hat tag now being accepted across all three boards
